Ride with us

Ride with us

JoyRiders volunteers run casual bike rides across London, Manchester and Oxford.

All riders are welcome. Rides last about two and a half hours and we stop for a coffee and cake on our routes. For new riders, we suggest you join a Beginners or Beginners+ ride. No rider is ever left behind.

Our riders and our ride leaders are from all over the world and speak a variety of languages. Everyone speaks English but you don’t have to be perfect!

Learn to ride!

Come and learn to ride a bike with us. Our free courses and one-to-one sessions are led by experienced cycling instructors. We’ll work on balance, pedalling, looking behind and signalling whilst riding.

Beginners rides

If you've just learnt to ride or if it's been a while since you were last on your bike, our short, off-road beginners rides are a great place to build your confidence in the saddle.

Special rides

Every now and again we like to take ourselves out a bit further. Sometimes this is a trip to a country house or the seaside, with return journey by train.
